A fire damaged a home in the 1600 block of N. Fountain Green Road early Friday after drivers on Route 543 reported flames on the side of the house.
Firefighters arrived to find the home’s carport on fire, and the crew stretched a handline and knocked down the flames.
What’s Happening: Crews opened up parts of the house so firefighters could reach fire in the attic space and put it out.
What’s Still Unknown: The fire company did not report injuries, a cause, or an estimate of damage.
