Harford County says part of St. Clair Bridge Road in Jarrettsville will be closed during the day for about two weeks starting March 25. The county says crews need the closure to collect engineering information from the bridge over Deer Creek.
What’s Happening: The closure covers St. Clair Bridge Road between Holy Cross Road and North Bend Road. Harford County officials say the road will be closed from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. starting Wednesday, March 25, for approximately two weeks while crews gather detailed information from the bridge’s piers.
What’s Important: Harford County officials say the information will be used to help design a replacement structure at that location in the future. Emergency vehicles and school buses will not be able to use the road during the work.
How This Affects Real People: Anyone who normally drives that stretch of St. Clair Bridge Road will need to follow detour signs or use another route during the daytime closure hours. Questions can be directed to 410-638-3509 extension 1392.
