A townhouse fire broke out April 23 in the 100 block of Laurel Woods Court in Bel Air. Crews from multiple fire companies responded and put it out quickly.

What’s Happening: Units from the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company, along with companies 4 and 8, responded to the fire. Company 3 crews had been clearing a vehicle accident nearby when they were called to assist.

What’s Important: Firefighters traced the fire to a laundry room and extinguished it before it could spread. The fire stayed in that room, but smoke and heat damage reached throughout the town home.
