Several streets in Bel Air will be temporarily closed Sunday morning for the Bel Air Town Run, the Bel Air Police Department said.

What’s Happening: The race starts at 8 a.m. June 7 and is expected to last about 1.5 hours. Roads will reopen as soon as officials determine it is safe.

What’s Important: Drivers should expect temporary closures and delays on the following streets:

  • Main Street
  • Broadway
  • Hickory Avenue
  • North Shamrock Road
  • Troutdale Terrace
  • Majors Choice Drive
  • Benjamin Road
  • Lee Way
  • Connecting roadways in and around the course

How This Affects Real People: Anyone driving through those areas Sunday morning should plan ahead and allow extra travel time. Police, fire police, and event personnel will be on hand to direct traffic along the route.

The Path Forward: The race finishes near the Shamrock Park Complex, and roads will reopen once officials clear them.
