Mother’s Day is one week away, and Harford County has no shortage of ways to make it memorable. Whether Mom wants a long brunch, a few hours of quiet at a spa, or an afternoon of browsing local shops, there are options across the county worth knowing about.

Brunch

For a sit-down meal, Rockfield Manor in Bel Air is hosting a Mother’s Day brunch May 10, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., presented by Lib’s Catering. The spread includes breakfast classics, carving stations, pasta, fresh salads, and a full bakery and dessert selection. Reservations are recommended.

Lib’s Grill, with locations in Bel Air and Perry Hall, also has Mother’s Day brunch reservations available.

Spa Days

For something quieter, Salt Works Spa in Bel Air is offering several Mother’s Day packages this year, including options with names like “The ‘You Look Tired’ Glow-Up,” “The Full System Reset,” and “The Head-to-Toe ‘Don’t Ask Me for Anything’ Day.” There is also a “Celebrate Time Together” package for two. The spa offers salt therapy, massages, infrared sauna, facials, acupuncture, and hormone replacement therapy.

Serenity Salt Spa in Forest Hill provides holistic wellness services including salt therapy, massage therapy, facials, and skin rejuvenation, with group event packages available.

In Havre de Grace, Spa Bellezza offers manicures, pedicures, massage therapy, facials, and body waxing in a historic setting.

Shopping and Events

The day before Mother’s Day, Harford Vineyard & Winery in Forest Hill is hosting “Uncorked in Bloom” Saturday, May 9. The event includes a build-your-own bouquet bar, permanent jewelry, professional photography, light appetizers, and dessert.

Mother’s Day morning, The Belle Aire Market opens in Downtown Bel Air from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., with artisan items and antiques.

Downtown Bel Air’s Coffee Coffee is a solid stop for a latte and a browse through locally sourced gifts. Nearby, Homelands Market carries products from Brooms Bloom Dairy, among other local finds. And Tiffanee & Co. Bakery is worth a stop before heading home.

Mother’s Day falls Sunday, May 10 this year. For most of these events, especially brunch, reservations should be made sooner rather than later.
