Two people were hurt when a ceiling collapsed inside a townhouse in the 1600 block of Meadowood Court in Edgewood Wednesday.

What happened: Both people suffered minor injuries and were taken to a hospital. Fire crews and a ladder truck responded to the scene.

What’s new: Two EMS units transported the injured residents — one to each unit.

The path forward: No further details about the cause of the collapse or the condition of the building have been released.
