Kids in Havre de Grace will have a new place to trick-or-treat this Halloween season — the front parking lot of Havre de Grace Middle/High School.

What’s happening: Havre de Grace Middle/High School is holding its first trunk-or-treat event Tuesday, Oct. 27. In a trunk-or-treat, decorated car trunks replace front doors as the candy stops for kids in costume.

How it works: Participants who want to hand out candy from their vehicles should arrive between 4 and 5 p.m. to set up in the front lot. Trick-or-treating runs from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

What this means for you: Families looking to bring kids out can show up during the 5:30 to 7 p.m. window. Those who want to participate as a trunk can register at https://forms.cloud.microsoft/r/ECF45wRywZ.
