Scattered severe thunderstorms could hit Maryland Sunday afternoon and evening as a cold front pushes south through the Mid-Atlantic, the National Weather Service said.

What’s Happening: Lightning, damaging gusty winds, and isolated hail are all possible as the front moves through. Highs Sunday will range from 76 to 95 degrees, depending on location, before temperatures drop overnight.
