A man died and another was seriously hurt after a shooting at a large party in Fallston early Sunday morning. No one has been charged.

What happened: Shortly after midnight July 5, deputies went to a private home in the 2300 block of Willow Vale Drive after reports of a shooting. Both men who were shot were outside the house when they were hit.

  • 23-year-old Jordan Jennings of Windsor Mill died at a local hospital.
  • 34-year-old Joseph Evans of Owings Mills is in critical but stable condition.

The party: The homeowner was not home that night and did not set up the event. The homeowner’s adult son organized the party and sold tickets through an online app. The home was not a rental. Armed security guards had been hired and were on the property when the shooting happened.

The investigation: Investigators have not determined who fired the shots or why. No charges have been filed. Detectives are going through physical evidence, witness accounts, and digital data, and working to trace the path of the bullets. According to the sheriff’s office, many attendees at the party came from Baltimore, Washington D.C., and other areas outside Harford County, which investigators say will slow the process.

What’s next: Anyone who was at the party or has video from that night is asked to call Detective Thumma at (443) 567-7201. Anonymous tips are also accepted.
