Bryan H. Burrows Jr., a 20-year-old Edgewood resident, was killed and another person was wounded in an April 3 shooting on Eloise Lane, according to the Harford County Sheriff’s Office. Authorities arrested a 17-year-old Edgewood teen in Baltimore City more than four months after the shooting.
What happened: The shooting took place in the 1900 block of Eloise Lane. The Sheriff’s Office identified the arrested teen as A’maree Curbeam and said detectives believe he fired the shots.
The arrest: Authorities found Curbeam at a home in Baltimore City Tuesday, Aug. 25, according to the Sheriff’s Office. Officers arrested him and took him to the Harford County Detention Center.
Curbeam was being held without bond when the department announced his arrest.
The gun: Detectives searched the Baltimore City home after Curbeam’s arrest and found a handgun. Investigators are checking whether the gun is tied to the Edgewood shooting or any other crime.
The path forward: Investigators will continue examining the handgun and checking for links to criminal cases.
