A house fire tore through a two-story brick home in the 600 block of Anchor Drive in Joppatowne Wednesday evening, sending flames and thick smoke high above the surrounding neighborhood.
What’s Happening: The Joppa Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company responded to the blaze. Photos from the scene show fire breaking through the roof and front of the home while crews stretched hose lines to the front door.







What’s Important: Multiple firefighters in full gear worked at the front entrance as flames consumed much of the upper structure.
What’s Still Unknown: No information has been released on injuries, the number of occupants, the cause of the fire, or damage to nearby homes.
